KINGRAIL manufactures custom railway wheels in 2A14 aluminium alloy for applications where reducing wheel weight is a design objective.

Produced to your drawing and duty
Wheel diameter, bore, hub dimensions, tread profile, flange profile, material, heat treatment and mechanical properties can be specified according to customer drawings and technical requirements. Materials & Standards
Typical railway wheel grades include ER6, ER7, ER8 and ER9, as well as other customer-specified grades.
Material selection, applicable standards and acceptance criteria are confirmed for each specific order. Compliance is established against the agreed order requirements.
Inspection defined by the specification
The inspection plan can cover the agreed material, mechanical and dimensional requirements for the wheel and its intended application.
Independent third-party inspection by SGS, TÜV or other customer-designated inspection organizations can be coordinated when required.
Prepared for international transport
Export packing can be arranged according to wheel dimensions, quantity and transportation requirements. The packing method and shipment plan are confirmed for each order.
